After having received more than 100 drawings made by girls and boys between 8 and 13 years old, natives of cities in Oaxaca and San Luis Potosí, it is time to recognize tomorrow’s artists. We thank those who participated in this first edition of the children’s drawing contest organized by Iberdrola México. We will undoubtedly continue to support activities like this, along with the communities where we are present, in order to encourage the development of artistic skills, because talent existing in Mexico is beyond doubt.
Attention Oaxaca! With the theme “Los sueños del aire” (“Air Dreams”), young artists who depicted their vision about wind turbines are the following:
Children’s Category (8-12 years old):
- First place: Ximena Alejandra Pineda, winner of a Samsung Chromebook Plus V2 laptop.
- Second place: Mía Isabela Guerra, winner of a Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8” Android tablet.
- Third place: Ismael Castillejos O., winner of a drawing kit.
Juvenile Category (13-15 years old):
- First place: Allison Paloma Morales, winner of a Samsung Chromebook Plus V2 laptop.
- Second place: Dafne Betanzos, winner of a Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8” Android tablet.
- Third place: Dulce María Sánchez, winner of a drawing kit.
Attention San Luis Potosí! With the theme “Héroes del río Moctezuma” (Heroes of the Moctezuma River), the best drawings showing Tamazunchale superheroes were made by:

- First place: Gabriel Alexander Moreyra, winner of a Samsung Chromebook Plus V2 laptop.
- Second place: Armando Ismael Ramos, winner of a Samsung Galaxy Tab A” 8 Android tablet.
- Third place: Carlos Guillermo Martínez, winner of a drawing kit.
Juvenile Category (13-15 years old):
- First place: Elsa Bautista Sánchez, winner of a Samsung Chromebook Plus V2 laptop.
- Second place: Liliana Bautista Sánchez, winner of a Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8” Android tablet.
- Third place: Félix Daviny Morales, winner of a drawing kit.
