Mexico City, May 31, 2022. ─ For the tenth consecutive year, the Centro Mexicano para la Filantropía A.C. (Mexican Philanthropy Center) (Cemefi) and the Alliance for Corporate Social Responsibility (AliaRSE) awarded Iberdrola México the Socially Responsible Company (ESR) Distinction.
“Corporate social responsibility is an strategic axis of Iberdrola México. We are very proud to receive this distinction for the tenth consecutive year, which further commits us to improve the quality of life of the communities in which we operate”, said Karina Gómez, coordinator, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Iberdrola México.
The award was given this Tuesday during the XV Latin American Meeting of Socially Responsible Companies, which takes place virtually from May 31 to June 2, 2022.
This distinction recognizes companies that implement a culture of responsible competitiveness, contribute to the social, economic and environmental culture of the company and its stakeholders, respect human rights, combat corruption, support social causes, and disseminate a new socially responsible business culture to inspire more companies.
The ESR Distinction award is based on a self-diagnosis process documented by the company and verified by the Cemefi.
