Iberdrola México completes a vehicular bridge in Puebla

  • Iberdrola invested nearly $858 thousand pesos to complete this work in the ejido Esperanza, in Puebla.
  • Additionally, as part of its social programs, more than 700 students and 15 teachers at the Secondary School “Emilio Carranza” will benefit from the delivery of computer equipment and furniture for the media classroom.

Puebla, February 17, 2021.– With the purpose of improving transportation routes and security in the zone, Iberdrola México delivered on this Wednesday the vehicular bridge that will allow the crossing of the “Rosa” Canyon and will benefit more than 1,100 residents in the Esperanza ejido in Puebla.

The company invested nearly $858 thousand pesos to complete this work, which communicates the auxiliary board of San José Cuyachapa, the San Antonio de Abajo and Otilio Montaño communities.

“Iberdrola México’s priority is to support the population’s economic development and wellbeing. Consequently, we are confident that the residents will be able to perform their activities more safely along with reduced travel time with the construction of the bridge”, said Marlén Mendoza, Coordinator, Assets Management, in Puebla.

Besides this support, Iberdrola México undertakes actions that promote quality education and greater growth opportunities for the communities where it operates. One such example is the delivery of computer equipment and furniture for the media classroom at the “Emilio Carranza” Secondary School, in Puebla, for the benefit of more than 700 students and 15 teachers.

Iberdrola invested nearly $328 thousand pesos to acquire this equipment, including 31 computers, 31 computer tables, 31 school chairs and 1 multifunctional printer.

Iberdrola México hopes that economic and industrial development can be combined with social dividend; therefore, the company pursues the improvement of the environment and the quality of life of nearby communities through ongoing support.
