The twin power plants: El Carmen (866MW) and Noreste (857MW), two combined cycles that started up in the last two years, are operated by a team of more than 60 people in the State of Nuevo León in Northern Mexico.
At these plants, 15% of the workforce are women, the highest number of female labor force at Iberdrola México’s facilities. We interviewed 5 of them and they described to us their everyday life and their vision of the present and future for women in the energy industry. We invite you to read their stories.
