Iberdrola México received the Exceptional Practice Award granted by the Entrepreneurial Coordinating Council (CCE), Voz de las Empresas, and the Instituto para el Fomento a la Calidad for its Luces de Esperanza (Lights of Hope) project, which brings electricity to isolated rural communities through solar panels and batteries, and for its 5 Essentials + 1 program, a campaign designed to prevent occupational accidents.

In 2022, the broad range of volunteer actions carried out by Iberdrola People in Mexico provided benefits for many people. Keeping the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in focus to guide our social and environmental actions at all times, we performed 124 activities in the different states we operate in, with the participation of 3,285 people, including company personnel as well as their relatives and members of partner institutions.
