In Oaxaca, both the State Government and the Private Sector build to educate
Iberdrola México delivered to the Government of Oaxaca the first three schools included in the Construir para Educar (Build to Educate) program, aimed at supporting education in the state through the reconstruction of 50 schools in the Tehuantepec Isthmus that were damaged by the 2017 earthquakes, with an investment of 125 million pesos, which will have solar panels for a sustainable power supply.
We foster education among young people in Oaxaca
We are excited to introduce the second generation of the Impulso STEM (STEM Boost). At Iberdrola México we are sure that quality education is crucial to build a better future. We trust that the young people that are now benefiting from this scholarship will become a benchmark in their communities and their state.
World benchmark in ‘Smart Grids’
Decarbonising the economy and digital innovation entails building innovative distribution grids to cope with new models of electricity consumption. The bi-directionality, flexibility, digitalisation and automation of smart grids make a new interconnected map possible that responds to the needs of energy users and producers.
