DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION

Tolerance: the key to inclusion

Are you familiar with the concept of tolerance? The Royal Spanish Academy defines it as “respect for the ideas, beliefs or practices of others when they are different from or contrary to one’s own”[1]. However, what we understand by tolerance can vary from one person to another. We found this out recently when we asked the Iberdrola People, how her understanding of this important value changed following a trip to the Museum of Memory and Tolerance.

This activity was part of Iberdrola México’s first Diversity and Inclusion Week, during which a set of undertakings was signed to move forward as an increasingly diverse and inclusive company.
