Iberdrola Master’s Degree Scholarship Programme for Mexican Students

  • Iberdrola will grant 10 scholarships for graduate studies in Mexico or Spain for two years.

  • The programme seeks to encourage professional development for young people in engineering, smart grids, renewable energy, sustainability, and energy and environment areas of study.

With the aim of developing high-level professionals who work towards a sustainable energy model and environmental protection, Iberdrola has opened our scholarship programme for 10 Mexican students or residents in Mexico seeking to begin graduate studies in this country or in Spain for a period of two years (2018-2020).

Through this programme, Iberdrola hopes to encourage professional development among young people in different areas of study, such as engineering, smart grids, renewable energy, sustainability, energy and the environment, information technologies, big data and cyber-security, among others.

The scholarship winners will be able to study at a Regional or International Campus of Excellence, such as the Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, Universidad Anáhuac, Universidad Panamericana, the Instituto de Estudios Superiores de Tamaulipas, Universidad Humanitas, Universidad Iberoamericana, the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de Mexico or the Comillas Universidad Pontificia./p>

The scholarship will include a stipend for room, board and transportation of between 2,600 and 10,800 Euros annually, depending on the awardee’s place of residence and the location of the institution where the Master’s degree studies will be conducted.

These scholarships are a part of the more than 100 Master’s degree scholarships and research grants that Iberdrola is planning to award to students in Mexico, Spain, the United Kingdom, the United States and Brazil, for which almost 3 million Euros have been allocated.
